Provincial Industry University Research Project

In 2012, our company cooperated with the Vegetable and Floriculture Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Dongguan Jifeng Agricultural Ecological Park Development Co., Ltd. to undertake the Guangdong Provincial Ministry of Education's Industry-University-Research Project "Key Technology Research and Industrial Demonstration for Developing Soilless Cultivation Substrates from Industrial and Agricultural Waste".

The project was implemented on February 1, 2012, and was originally planned to be completed and accepted by the end of 2013. Later, the company delayed the progress of the experiment due to the renovation of the three old buildings, and proposed to the project supervisory unit to postpone the acceptance for one year, which was approved. Subsequently, our company joined hands with the Vegetable and Flower Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Dongguan Jifeng Agricultural Ecological Park Development Co., Ltd. to strengthen technical research, and the experiment and demonstration went hand in hand. The task was successfully completed in November 2014, and all technical and economic indicators met the contract requirements.

To manage the project, we established a project team headed by Chairman Lin Xiaoming. We adopted a method of reasonable division of labor, collaborative cooperation, and unified coordination to successfully complete the overall experiment, demonstration, and promotion of the project.

Guangdong Dazhong Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd. is the implementer of the project and is responsible for the raising of its own funds, production land, capital construction, equipment purchase and installation, daily production and management operations, and is responsible for the evaluation of papermaking waste, the collection of local cheap waste, the research on pre-treatment methods of agricultural waste, the research on fermentation methods, the screening of optimal strains, and the formulation of corporate standards for soilless cultivation substrates.

The Institute of Vegetable and Floriculture of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is the technology provider and is mainly responsible for the technical guidance of the overall project. It is also responsible for the evaluation and utilization of agricultural waste, research on the optimal ratio of papermaking waste and agricultural waste, research on soilless cultivation models, research on substrate reuse, and formulation of production technology specifications.

Dongguan Jifeng Agricultural Ecological Park Development Co., Ltd. is the promoter and application party, and is mainly responsible for the demonstration of ecological matrix soilless cultivation production, including the screening of crop types and varieties such as flower seedlings.
